Terms of Service
These Terms are effective September 29, 2026.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Construction Help Finder LLC ("Construction Help Finder," "CHF," "we," or "us"). They cover this website, constructionhelpfinder.com, and the Construction Help Finder platform at app.constructionhelpfinder.com.
By using the website or creating an account on the platform, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use them.
Who can use Construction Help Finder
You must be 18 or older to use the platform. If you use it for a business, you promise you have the right to agree to these Terms for that business. Construction Help Finder is built for construction work in Southern California.
A job board, and only a job board
Construction Help Finder connects contractors and other employers who post construction jobs with skilled trade workers who look for them. That is all it does.
Construction Help Finder is not a staffing agency, labor contractor, or employer of record. We are not a party to any deal, job, or work arrangement between users. We do not:
- Hire, employ, supply, place, assign, or send any worker to any job.
- Screen users, check backgrounds, or check anyone's licenses, skills, experience, or insurance.
- Supervise, direct, inspect, or stand behind any work.
- Hold, handle, or pass along any pay between users, or set anyone's pay.
- Promise that a job will be filled, that anyone will be hired, or that any work will turn out well.
A worker who takes a job found on the platform works for the employer who posted it, or for themselves. They never work for Construction Help Finder.
Your responsibilities
You decide who you work with, and that choice is yours to own. Before you agree to anything, talk it through and check what matters to you.
If you post a job, you are responsible for following every law that applies to it. That includes contractor licensing, permits, wage and hour rules, how you classify workers, workers' compensation, insurance, taxes, and job-site safety.
If you apply for a job, you are responsible for telling the truth about your skills, your experience, and any license you say you hold, and for following the laws that apply to your work.
Everyone agrees to give true, current information on the platform and to keep it up to date.
Your account
Keep your password private. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account. If you think someone else is using it, tell us right away at Info@constructionhelpfinder.com. Each account is for one person or one business.
What costs nothing and what you pay for
You can post a job and browse listings without paying. Applying for a job, seeing who applied, and getting in touch are paid features.
Paid features are sold as a subscription. Current prices are shown on the platform before you pay.
- Renewal. Your subscription renews on its own at the end of each billing period, at the price shown at that time, until you cancel.
- Canceling. You can cancel anytime on the platform or by emailing us. Your access lasts until the end of the period you already paid for.
- Refunds. Payments are not refundable, including for unused time, except where the law requires a refund.
- Price changes. We may change prices. We'll tell you before a new price applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before it does.
- Payment processing. A third-party payment processor handles payments under its own terms.
Rules for using the platform
When you use Construction Help Finder, you agree not to:
- Post a job that isn't real, isn't construction work, or breaks the law.
- Post a job that discriminates against anyone in a way the law forbids.
- Lie about who you are, your business, your skills, your experience, or your licenses.
- Put phone numbers, emails, or other contact details in a job post or profile to get around the paid features.
- Copy, collect, or scrape other users' information, or hand it or sell it to anyone else.
- Harass, threaten, or cheat another user.
- Send spam, or upload anything harmful, like a virus.
- Try to break into, overload, or get around the security of the website or platform.
What you post
You own what you post: your job posts, your profile, and your applications. By posting it, you let us store it, show it on the platform, and use it to run the platform. That permission ends when you delete it or close your account, except for copies we must keep by law or that other users already have.
You promise that what you post is true, is yours to share, and doesn't break the law or anyone else's rights. We may remove anything that breaks these Terms. We don't review everything users post, and we're not responsible for it.
Our name, website, and platform
The Construction Help Finder name, logo, website, and platform belong to Construction Help Finder LLC. You may not copy, sell, or build on them without our written permission. We may change, pause, or stop any part of the website or platform at any time.
Suspending or closing accounts
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account, or remove your posts, if you break these Terms, if the law requires it, or to protect other users. The parts of these Terms that should last by their nature still apply after your account closes, including payment, disclaimers, limits on liability, and disputes.
Disclaimers
The website and platform are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises of any kind about them, including that they will always work, be free of errors, or meet your needs.
We make no promises about users or their work. What users say about themselves, their skills, their licenses, or their jobs is their word, not ours.
Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Construction Help Finder and its owners, team, and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost jobs, or lost data. That covers anything that comes from your use of the website or platform, or from anything another user does.
Our total liability for any claim about the website or platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Some states don't allow some of these limits, so some of them may not apply to you.
Problems between users
Any disagreement about a job, the work, or pay is between you and the other user. We don't settle it, and we're not responsible for it. You release Construction Help Finder from claims that come out of disputes between users.
If you live in California, you waive California Civil Code Section 1542, which says: "A general release does not extend to claims that the creditor or releasing party does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release and that, if known by him or her, would have materially affected his or her settlement with the debtor or released party."
Covering us for claims you cause
If someone makes a claim against Construction Help Finder because of what you posted, how you used the platform, a job you posted or took, or your breaking these Terms or the law, you agree to cover our losses and costs, including reasonable attorney fees.
Governing law and disputes
California law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before you file any claim, email us at Info@constructionhelpfinder.com and give us 30 days to try to work it out.
Any lawsuit about these Terms, the website, or the platform must be brought in the state or federal courts in San Bernardino County, California, and you agree to those courts. Either side may use small claims court instead, if the claim qualifies.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. When we do, we'll post them here with a new effective date. If a change is big, we'll tell you by email or with a notice on the platform. If you keep using the website or platform after a change takes effect, you accept the new Terms.
The fine print
These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the website and platform. If a court finds any part can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a part right away, we haven't given up the right to enforce it later. You can't transfer your rights under these Terms without our OK. We can transfer ours, for example if the business is sold.
